Charter and Membership - Advisory Committee on Parks & Recreation
Indian Lake is a community rich with recreational opportunities. In our history we have had a very diverse recreational mix, but currently there is a need for renewed recreational opportunities for our younger and more active citizens. The purpose of this committee is to gather the input and collective voice of our diverse community and existing recreational clubs, and advise Council on the community's recreational needs going forward. Ideas include investigating park and playground needs, resurrecting water ski events and competitions, and picnic areas along the hiking/biking trail.
